Prerequisites

Deployment cannot proceed until every prerequisite in this section has been satisfied.

Technical prerequisites​

  • Azure DevOps organization and project with access to the WhatIF web and API source repositories
  • Azure subscription with permissions to create and configure App Services
  • Exported build and release pipeline JSON files available for import

Security and access​

  • Service principal or managed identity strategy confirmed and provisioned
  • Access to Azure Key Vault or an equivalent secret store confirmed
  • Access to the Rating API endpoint confirmed, including authentication credentials
  • Network connectivity confirmed between Azure App Service and all dependent services
  • Microsoft Entra ID configured as the identity provider
