KPI Builder (BoB)

1. Why should I create a KPI Profile?▸

KPI Profiles allow you to save frequently used reporting dimensions and reuse them across multiple What-If reports, eliminating repetitive configuration.

2. Can I use the same KPI Profile across multiple scenarios?▸

Yes. A KPI Profile can be applied to any scenario or report for the same product.

3. What happens if I don't create a KPI Profile?▸

The system will use the default report configuration, but you may need to manually select dimensions and filters each time you generate a report.

4. Can I modify a KPI Profile after it is created?▸

Yes. Existing KPI Profiles can be edited to add, remove, or update attributes and dimensions.

5. Why are some attributes not available for selection?▸

Only attributes configured and published for the selected product and report type are available in KPI Builder.

6. What is a Default KPI Profile?▸

A Default KPI Profile is automatically applied when a report is generated, ensuring consistent reporting across users and teams.

7. Will changes to a KPI Profile affect previously generated reports?▸

No. Changes apply only to future report executions. Previously generated reports remain unchanged.

8. Can KPI Profiles be shared with other users?▸

Yes. KPI Profiles are product-level configurations and can be used by authorised users generating reports for that product.

9. How do KPI Profiles improve reporting?▸

They standardise report dimensions, reduce setup time, ensure consistency across analyses, and make scenario comparisons more meaningful.
