Currency Configuration

1. What is Currency Configuration?▸

Currency Configuration allows administrators to define the default currency and display format used across the What-If Platform.

2. Where is the configured currency used?▸

The selected currency is applied across:

  • Scenario Reports
  • Premium Displacement Reports
  • Rate Comparison Reports
  • Segment Analysis
  • Portfolio Analytics
3. Can I change the currency after the platform is configured?▸

Yes. Administrators can update the currency configuration at any time. New reports and dashboards will use the updated settings.

4. Does changing the currency convert premium values?▸

No. Currency Configuration controls only the display format and currency label. It does not perform currency conversion or exchange-rate calculations.

5. What is Display Format?▸

Display Format controls how monetary values are presented, such as:

  • $1,000.00
  • USD 1,000.00
  • 1,000.00 USD

The preview section displays how values will appear throughout the platform.

6. Will the currency setting affect existing reports?▸

The currency display format is applied consistently across reports and dashboards, ensuring all users view premium amounts in the configured format.

7. What does "Reset to Defaults" do?▸

Reset to Defaults restores the platform's default currency and display format settings.

8. Who can modify Currency Configuration?▸

Only users with administrative privileges can update currency settings for the platform.
